Publish or Perish Workshop

April 16, 2021 @ 3:00 PM CST

Facilitators

Dr. Murat Arik, Middle Tennessee State University

Dr. Marty Ludlum, University of Central Oklahoma

Co-Editor of the Global Journal of Entrepreneurship (GJE)

Publishing is still as critical to academic success as ever, perhaps more than ever because of the budget pressures that are driving University retrenchment. On the positive side, there are more Outlets today than ever before. Directories such as Cabell’s make it easier to find outlets and demonstrate just how many sources there are in any given discipline.

In this Workshop, facilitated by IGBR Journal Editors, you will learn about the various types of research recognized by AACSB, as well as what makes a paper worthy of Journal publication. You will also learn the ins-and-outs of the review process, and hone your skills as a writer, researcher and reviewer.

Please join us for a 90 minute interactive workshop on academic publishing designed to give you the skills necessary to publish instead of perish (a recording will be made available to participants after the workshop).

Registration is free if you agree to review for one of the IGBR Journals.
